ZEN THAI SHIATSU BODYWORK MASSAGE

A gentle practice of mindful touch, movement and deep rest.

Zen Thai Shiatsu is a gentle form of bodywork massage that combines elements of traditional Thai Massage, Shiatsu acupressure and Zen philosophy.

Through mindful touch, gentle stretching, rhythmic rocking and soft shaking movements, the body is invited to release held tension and soften into a deeper state of relaxation. Rather than forcing anything, the practice creates space for the body to let go in its own time, supporting a sense of grounding, spaciousness and restoration.

The massage is received fully clothed on a Shiatsu futon on the floor. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and is not too tight or heavy. I recommend bringing an extra pair of socks, as the body can cool down during deep relaxation.

The bodywork itself lasts approximately 60 minutes. We allow additional time before and after the treatment to arrive, settle in, and gently integrate afterwards.

Please plan for around 90 minutes in total.

Before we begin, we take a little time to arrive and connect. This also gives you space to share anything that may be important for your session, such as injuries, sensitivities or other considerations.

Afterwards, there is no need to rush. You’ll have time to slowly return, wake up gently and take a moment before continuing with your day.

PRIVATE SOUND MEDITATION

A gentle and deeply restorative introduction to meditation, created to help you slow down, quiet the mind and settle into a state of deep rest.
In this personalised 1:1 session, you don't need to know how to meditate or have any previous experience. There is nothing to achieve and no right or wrong way to do it. You simply lie down, get comfortable and allow yourself to receive.

Through resonant sounds, soothing frequencies and binaural tones, the session creates a gentle environment for the brain to shift away from its usual state of alertness and into deeper states of relaxation. Binaural frequencies work with the way the brain processes slightly different tones in each ear, creating a perceived rhythm that can support a calmer, more inward state.

The meditation gradually guides you towards slower brainwave activity, including the Theta state, which is associated with deep relaxation, inward focus and the transition between wakefulness and sleep, dream state like.

The session lasts approximately 60 minutes, with time before and afterwards to arrive and slowly return to your surroundings.

RESTORATIVE PRIVATE (Combining Restorative Yoga, Bodywork and Sound Meditation)

This session is designed to soften mind and body, unfog the brain and create space for something new.

Resting is something we often have to relearn. In a world that asks us to do, achieve and keep moving, simply stopping can feel unfamiliar. “Inner Zen Space” is a personalised 1:1 session offering your body and mind the time, space and support to fully unwind.

Each session responds to where you are in the moment. We begin with a gentle check-in: How are you feeling? Where are you holding stress or tension? What brought you here today? From there, I create a practice tailored to your needs.

We begin with carefully chosen Restorative Yoga poses, using props and supported shapes to help you settle into your body and calm the nervous system. There is no goal to stretch, achieve or deepen anything; the invitation is to feel supported, rest and allow your mind to wander.

I weave in elements of Zen Thai Shiatsu Bodywork, combining traditional Thai Massage, Shiatsu acupressure and Zen philosophy. Through mindful touch, the body is invited to release held tension and move towards ease and stillness.

We end with Sound Meditation, using resonant sounds and soothing frequencies as a gentle, passive way to quiet the mind and support deeper relaxation.

The session lasts approximately 90 minutes. Please allow around 2 hours, including time to arrive, settle in and gently return afterwards.

Wear warm, comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and move freely.
